Magic Is Real

I had a spiritual awakening after the passing of my stepdad, Stan, when I was a junior in high school. Cracking open thoughts and questions that I hadn’t visited before nudged me in a direction that I now know I was meant to find.

These questions about life and death and love and light and energy and magic will continuously be answered as our lives continue on, if they’re really “answered” at all. One discovery may very well lead to 50 more Q’s.

One thing I know for sure, though, is that magic is real. How you define and label it may vary, but the intangibility offers limitless interpretations—and appreciations.

This visit to Scotland with my sister revealed the kind of magic that you simply cannot deny. Although we planned this trip down to every half hour 😅, the separate alignments and blessings brought us to tears.

I get choked up just thinking about it.

As I adjust back to the rhythm and flow of home, I will be carrying this feeling of being held and cared for by entities beyond my comprehension.

There are things that can be planned and there are things that come in the space between what we believe is possible and what is beyond our expansive imagination.

*Scotland’s official national animal is a unicorn, so there’s that too ;)
